Ride in the footsteps of Chicago’s favorite son, Barack Obama, and learn about our 44th President’s amazing journey to the White House.

Bike through the picturesque neighborhoods of Hyde Park and Kenwood for a glimpse of the President’s home. Visit the site where Barack and Michelle first kissed, and learn about the President’s life in Chicago. Top sights include the DuSable Museum of African American History, the Obama residence, Museum of Science and Industry, Osaka Japanese Garden, The Robie House by Frank Lloyd Wright, Muhammad Ali’s former home, Rockefeller Chapel, and the University of Chicago. This easy riding 2.5 hour bike tour is fun, educational, and inspiring.

TIMES AND LOCATIONS: The Presidential Bike Tour starts and ends at the DuSable Museum located at 740 E. 56th Place, Chicago IL 60637. Tours start daily at 10:30am and 2:30pm.

You can get there in one of the following ways:

BY BIKE: Pick up a bike from the Millennium Park Bike Station (239 E. Randolph St.) or any other Bike and Roll location and bike to the DuSable Museum.  

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: Take a taxi or public transportation to the DuSable Museum http://www.dusablemuseum.org/visit/directions

Please allow 45 minutes for transportation to and from the DuSable Museum
